We are seeking an experienced and licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination skills, with a focus on power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, and other low-voltage systems.
- Prepare and seal electrical construction documents, specifications, and reports in compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IBC, etc.).
- Perform load calculations, arc flash studies, and short-circuit analyses using appropriate software tools.
- Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; conduct field investigations and site visits.
- Lead or support project teams and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the design and construction process.
- Ensure all work meets professional engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
