Responsibilities:

• Hardware Integration:
• Assemble, integrate, and configure servers, IT hardware, and peripherals based on project specifications.
• Install operating systems, drivers, and firmware updates on server and IT systems.
• Perform hardware and software compatibility checks to ensure seamless system functionality.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
• Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing on integrated hardware systems.
• Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Document and communicate test results, including failures, resolutions, and improvements.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate documentation for hardware builds, configurations, and testing procedures.
• Ensure systems adhere to DoD standards, cybersecurity protocols, and other applicable regulations (e.g., NIST, RMF).
• Support quality assurance processes and participate in audits as needed.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement:
• Work closely with engineering, software, and project management teams to define system requirements and address hardware-related challenges.
• Provide input for improving assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hardware integration and testing.
• Logistics & Inventory Management:
• Manage and track inventory of IT hardware components and tools.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely availability of components and replacement parts.
