I need of a highly skilled Elastic Stack Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join our mission-focused team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats). This role also requires strong expertise in Kafka and containerization technologies to support scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
Due to the Rules and Regulations and Requirements from the US Govt and our Client – This Position requires an Active DoD US Govt. Top Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and deploy Elastic Stack solutions to support data ingestion, indexing, visualization, and analysis.
- Excellent Scripting Experience Python/Bash
- Configure and optimize Elasticsearch clusters for scalability, resilience, and high availability.
- Implement and manage Logstash pipelines and Beats agents for diverse data sources.
- Integrate and maintain Kafka for large-scale, real-time data streaming and processing.
- Design, implement, and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar) to ensure efficient deployment and orchestration of solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver secure, mission-critical solutions.
- Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
Must have Qualifications
- DoD 8570 - IAT Level II Cert (Security+ CE, CSA+, GICSP, CAP, CASP+ SCISM, CISSP, etc .. or Any IAT Level III Cert)
- Must have a BA/BS Degree and 8+ years of DoD Experience
- 6+ years of Designing & Deploying ELK Stack
- 3+ years of experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
