We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining audiovisual (AV) systems for our clients. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional AV solutions to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including projectors, displays, sound systems, video conferencing solutions, control systems, and other AV components.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Perform site surveys to assess installation needs, infrastructure requirements, and technical constraints.
- Assemble and mount AV equipment securely and professionally, ensuring proper cable management and aesthetics.
- Test and troubleshoot AV systems to verify functionality, quality, and performance, and address any issues that arise during installation.
- Program and calibrate AV control systems to ensure seamless operation and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, networking, and facilities, to integrate AV systems into existing infrastructures.
- Provide training and user support to clients on how to operate and maintain installed AV systems.
$20 - $40 an hour
