Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, setup, testing, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in various environments, including commercial, educational, residential, and event spaces. You’ll work with a range of equipment including projectors, flat panels, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control systems. TS/SCI clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure AV equipment including displays, sound systems, video conferencing hardware, and control systems.
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (e.g., HDMI, VGA, CAT6, speaker wire, fiber).
- Mount projectors, screens, TVs, and speakers according to design plans and safety standards.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance on installed systems.
- Interpret AV system blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure installations meet specifications and expectations.
- Maintain tools, inventory, and job site cleanliness.
- Provide basic user training and system handoff to clients as needed.
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations.
$90,000 - $125,000 a year
