Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Digital Solutions Manager with a strong background in public media to lead digital transformation initiatives and manage the development and execution of digital products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the public media landscape, as well as a proven track record of driving engagement and delivering user-centric digital solutions. This role requires collaboration across teams, managing multiple digital platforms, and ensuring the smooth integration of technology and content.

Responsibilities:

    • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to enhance public media offerings, increase audience engagement, and grow digital reach across platforms.
    • Product Management: Lead the development and management of digital products, such as websites, mobile apps, streaming platforms, and on-demand services. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
    • Team Leadership: Manage a multidisciplinary digital team, including developers, designers, and content managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
    • Public Media Expertise: Leverage public media experience to drive the creation of content strategies that align with audience needs and interests, particularly in relation to news, culture, education, and entertainment.
    • Platform Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of digital platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and consistent content delivery across all devices.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and audience insights to optimize digital products, track performance, and make informed recommendations for future development.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, marketing, fundraising, and technical teams to ensure digital products are aligned with broader organizational objectives and successfully integrated with other departments.
    • Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors, contractors, and public media partners to ensure successful implementation of digital projects and solutions.
    • Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay up to date on digital trends and emerging technologies in public media, recommending and implementing new tools and platforms to enhance audience experience.
    • Budget Management: Manage the digital solutions budget, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
$60,000 - $80,000 a year
