We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager specializing in Trusts & Estates to lead complex tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and family offices. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax matters, with the ability to advise clients on multi-generational wealth strategies, tax-efficient transfers, and trust administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and review the preparation of federal and state fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 1041), estate tax returns (Form 706), gift tax returns (Form 709), and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax filings
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, charitable giving, trust structuring, and wealth preservation
- Provide guidance on trust accounting and distributions in accordance with trust documents and applicable laws
- Identify and resolve tax issues; provide practical solutions and strategic advice tailored to client goals
- Oversee and mentor tax staff and senior associates; manage workflow and ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 10+ years accounting experience with a focus on Trusts/Estates
- CPA or EA preferred
$180,000 - $210,000 a year
