Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics/Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and strong soldering skills. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electromechanical systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a blend of electronics and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on complex assemblies and support engineering teams.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

    • Assemble, test, and repair electronic and mechanical components, including PCBs and subassemblies.
    • Perform soldering (through-hole and surface-mount) on circuit boards and other electronic components.
    • Inspect and troubleshoot PCB assemblies for defects, cold joints, or damaged components.
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
    • Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fastening, wiring, and integration of hardware components.
    • Conduct functional testing and validation of electronic and electromechanical systems.
    • Document test results, repairs, and assembly processes for quality and traceability.
    • Collaborate with engineers to support prototype builds, product modifications, and design improvements.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company and industry standards.
    • Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools as needed.
