Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Water Resources Project Engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing water resources projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Project Design: Lead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, including process engineering, hydraulic design, and infrastructure layout.
- Project Management: Manage all phases of water resources projects, from initial planning and design through construction and commissioning. Ensure that project milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed technical analysis and calculations to support the design of treatment processes, pipelines, pump stations, and other related infrastructure.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate project activities and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Construction Support: Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits to ensure that the project is built according to specifications.
- Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing cost estimates, project budgets, and proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Innovation: Stay informed of the latest advancements in water and wastewater treatment technology and apply innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
