Salary: $60,000 - 90,000/year
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team, specializing in PCB Testing and Assembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs), with a strong understanding of electronics principles, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies. This position is critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they reach the customer.

Responsibilities

    • Assemble and solder components onto PCBs using both manual and automated equipment (e.g., wave soldering, pick-and-place machines).
    • Perform through-hole and surface mount (SMT) soldering of various components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors.
    • Inspect and verify PCB assemblies to ensure correct placement and proper solder joints.
    • Rework and repair PCBs as necessary, including troubleshooting and correcting soldering defects.
    • Conduct in-circuit testing (ICT) and functional testing of PCBs to verify electrical performance.
    • Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and specialized PCB testers to troubleshoot and identify defects.
    • Perform signal integrity tests, voltage and current measurements, and other tests to validate PCB functionality.
    • Record test results and provide feedback to engineering teams for design improvements.

Requirements

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and testing in an electronics manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.
    • Experience with in-circuit testing (ICT), functional testing, and basic troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
    • Familiarity with common test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
