Looking for an experienced Tax Manager who will be able to lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Day to Day
- Manage and review complex tax returns including federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base in various industries.
- Conduct research and stay current on tax law changes and industry developments.
- Coordinate and oversee tax staff and seniors on engagements; review their work and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve tax issues, and provide proactive tax advice.
- Assist with IRS and state tax audits, notices, and correspondence.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Support firm growth initiatives through cross-selling services and business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality control standards.
Qualifications
- CPA is highly desired
- QuickBooks experience and other Accounting software systems
- Ideally 5+ year of Tax experience in a Public firm
- Ideally 2+ years experience leading and managing a team
- Must have Experience with Tax Returns for both Individuals and well as Business and or Trusts
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
