We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller with strong proficiency in QuickBooks to oversee the company’s financial operations. The Controller will be responsible for managing accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience in both day-to-day accounting and strategic financial planning.
This role is fully onsite in Orlando FL
Salary: $45-55/hr
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records in QuickBooks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar senior-level finance role.
- Strong QuickBooks experience
$45 - $55 an hour
