Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, designing, and managing wastewater treatment and collection systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This position offers hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering:
- Develop and design wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations.
- Prepare engineering calculations, construction plans, and technical specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis of wastewater systems.
- Project Management:
- Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and progress reports.
- Compliance and Permitting:
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Prepare and submit permit applications and support regulatory approval processes.
- Inspection and Maintenance Support:
- Oversee construction activities and perform site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, and maintenance strategies.
- Research and Innovation:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in wastewater treatment and conveyance.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
$45 - $60 an hour
