HomeGround Real Estate (HGRE) provides services to address different areas of the market, approximately two thirds of our business is like any other property management focused agency, with the remaining third focused on social impact. This social impact is what differentiates us from the market, allowing renters the opportunity for safe, affordable housing. Plus, all of our fees are reinvested into Launch Housing to help support our joint mission of ending homelessness.

What you'll be doing

As a Property Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring the agency establishes itself in the marketplace as a competitive provider of property management services. You'll play a key part in developing HGRE’s reputation among the public and members of industry that demonstrates integrity and competence as real estate practitioners, ensuring compliance with current legislation practices.

Your responsibilities are extensive and varied, however, the role will be accountable for the overall management of residential properties on behalf of the landlord in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act, the Estate Agent Act and the organisation’s policies, procedures and systems.

You will:

• Undertake all property management tasks in a proficient and professional manner, including providing accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Undertake all property management tasks in accordance with HGRE policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
• Liaise and maintain positive relationships with other Real Estate Agents.
• Ensure all contractors have the appropriate and current licenses and insurance.
• Liaise with the Administration team for preparation of Leasing/Management documentation.

What we're looking for (key selection criteria):

    • Eligible to be employed as an agent’s representative or Licenced Estate Agent as described in the Estate Agents Act.
    • Excellent computer skills, particularly Office 365.
    • Sound experience of PropertyMe, Inspect Real Estate and Inspection Express software systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others towards effective client solutions.
    • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with sound problem solving and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of working within confines of relevant legislation.
    • A valid Victorian driver’s licence.
    • Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.
