Hours Commitment: Full-time hours (40 hours/week) with regular weekend responsibilities

The Ministry Director exists to lead and support our Church community in a way that leads people to fully follow Jesus. The heartbeat of the role involves helping our community be needed and known at LCBC, empowering people to do the work of the ministry through digital connection, and take next steps in their faith, by vision casting how lives can be changed while keeping Jesus at the center of all you do.

The Church team has the unique opportunity to serve many people where their primary expression of engaging the church, while also serving our people who primarily engage at an LCBC location.

    • Owning and inviting others to take next steps with Jesus through LCBC, from Trusting Jesus to Baptism to Connecting in Groups.
    • Having the passion and desire to recruit, train, equip, empower, sustain and vision cast our serve teams regularly.
    • Growing and establishing relationships with our serve team members.

Skills Needed to Succeed:

    • Confident and capable in leading through teams, whether online or in-person, developing and resourcing serve team members to do the work of ministry.
    • Organizational management skills and can lead with excellence.
    • Data fluency - self-motivated to track down and leverage data to find people and patterns, with the ultimate goal of helping our people be needed and known, and take the best next steps as they grow in following Jesus.
    • Strong communicator who listens well and inspires others to action.

Personal Qualifications:

    • Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and lives out a pattern of spiritual development and regular participation at LCBC.
    • Supports LCBC's mission, priorities, philosophy of ministry and doctrinal statement.

Evaluation:
The Ministry Director will meet regularly with the Campus Pastor for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
