Hours Commitment: Full-time hours (40 hours/week) with regular weekend responsibilities.
The Next Steps Director role exists to help adults connect and grow in our church through developing environments where they can take their best next step with confidence.
The Next Steps Team at LCBC supports the LCBC mission of introducing people to Jesus and together fully follow Him. The Next Steps ministry comprises of four primary disciplines: Groups, Community Impact, Milestones, and Guides. We primarily focus on helping adults plug into the life of our church and know how to activate their faith.

You'll Contribute to Life Change By:
- Being a visual presence of connecting with people in the atrium on the Weekend.
- Overseeing and coordinating onsite, offsite, and online Groups for the LCBC location.
- Managing Care Ministries systems for the LCBC location, participating in overseeing the Pastoral Response Team rotation, Benevolence Team and the development of chaplains-on-call.
- Building relationships with other non-profit community partners to mobilize our people to help fuel their mission and make a difference in our neighborhoods.
- Ensuring Next Steps class schedule consistency each month, content and reference guide are followed and participate in teaching Next Steps classes.
Skills Needed to Succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in a professional, multi-task, and multi-staff environment with track record of successfully accomplishing goals.
- Ability to build teams.
- Ability to vision cast the purpose and mission.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in handling office and volunteer matters of a sensitive nature.
