Member Marketing Specialist - Benefits & Enrolment

Reporting to the Manager of Member Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the marketing team. You'll be with a highly skilled team working on driving member engagement and be at the center of an emerging market.

What you'll do:

    • Work closely with the Operations, Customer Success and Product Onboarding teams to build campaigns that create a  seamless enrollment and onboarding experience for new members
    • Think big! You’ll be managing and executing creative and “out of the box” campaigns with activities including A/B testing, email campaign set-up, testing, deployment and as required, creative development
    • Engage and educate our members on the importance of their end to end benefits experience (cross-border CAN/US)
    • Guide our creative team to produce designs that share a cohesive and logical brand story
    • Drive our best-in-class MAU results by supporting communications to our (exponentially) growing member base
    • Be the day-to-day contact with external marketing agencies, as required, to execute on a variety of member marketing campaigns
    • Interpret client data to identify triggers and behaviors that indicate potential lifecycle changes
    • Be the master of your own dataset. Open rates, click-throughs, unsubscribes - they all tell a story, and it will be your responsibility to pull the insights that will drive our future strategy

What we hope you bring to the table:

    • 2+ years of experience
    • Previous experience with Email Marketing / CRM (ideally, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
    • Background in the health insurance and/or benefits industry
    • Strong analytical skills and a high comfort level with data
    • Experience planning, executing and analyzing dynamic 1:1 marketing campaigns
    • Proven ability to maintain and build on member level engagement metrics
    • Outstanding written communication skills with an eye for design
    • Strong multi-tasker who can balance it all in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
    • Basic web-development experience (HTML, CSS and AMPScript)
    • Experience integrating push and SMS notification strategies
