As the Manager, Operations (CAN) you are responsible and passionate about driving delivery for the Canadian operations organization, executing a roadmap of projects that supports League’s objectives, continual monitoring/managing operation team metrics, and coaching a high performing operations team.

In this role you will:

    • Play a critical role in defining and executing the strategy of the Canadian operations team
    • Be responsible for the ongoing operations of benefits administration service at League with support from a team of operations associates
    • Work directly with clients on defining complex implementation requirements, implementation, and issue resolution
    • Champion complex operations projects to achieve business goals, such as maintaining relationships with existing insurance carrier partners, developing relationships with new insurance carrier partners, defining offshore infrastructure, establishing benefit administration standards, ensuring accurate benefit administration, developing rigorous systems to monitor/measure key operational KPIs, including: quality/accuracy service Levels, and capacity cost to serve
    • Manage a team of operations / senior operation associates to deliver against team objectives
    • Coach high performing operations / senior operation associates
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that may impair the team’s ability to meet goals
    • Act as a point of escalation internally and externally for any critical issues

Required Experience and Education

    • 5+ years relevant experience in business operations in a SaaS company, consulting firm or a similar background
    • Strong leadership skills and a drive to make a large impact on the company and the customers
    • Insurance and benefits administration experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

Security Related Responsibilities

    • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee's role and responsibilities
    • Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures within the department/ team
    • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
    • Compliance with Information Security Policies

Authorities and Limitations

    • Review and approve changes to team headcount
    • Review and approve changes to employee salary and compensation
    • Approve changes to tool & data access for employees
    • All Authorities are limited to the extent set out in the Authorization Policy
