The Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together to support each other through three key initiatives: LeanIn.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program. We are looking for a senior consumer and digital marketer to report directly to the CEO and lead our world-class marketing team. As a vital member of our senior leadership team, you will help shape the strategic direction of Lean In and Option B. As the head of our marketing team, you will package our programs and research to drive broad consumer awareness, company adoption, and impact at scale and work cross-functionally to grow and engage our global community. Due to COVID-19, our team is working remotely on PDT hours through July 2021. Beyond that, this full-time position will be based out of our office in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities

    • Work alongside the CEO and senior leadership team to support the overall strategic direction of Lean In and Option B
    • Oversee implementation of integrated go-to-market plans to drive consumer awareness and company adoption of our programs and research – with an emphasis on reaching new audiences and underrepresented groups
    • Oversee community growth and engagement across social, email, and other channels - with an emphasis on creating inclusive, intersectional content 
    • Lead digital marketing strategy and oversee our product and web development – including performance marketing and funnel optimization
    • Own the brand, positioning, and storytelling for Lean In and Option B
    • Manage and mentor our world-class marketing team
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the org, working closely with our communications, content, partnerships and programs teams

Requirements

    • Passion for missions of Lean In, Option B, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program
    • Understanding of women’s issues and intersectionality and passion for diversity, equity and inclusion
    • 15+ years of consumer and digital marketing experience with several years in senior leadership
    • Proven success in creating and executing high-impact integrated marketing campaigns
    • Demonstrated experience in leading digital strategy and web/product development
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to build consensus internally and engage audiences externally 
    • Expertise in social media, influencer engagement, digital advertising, SEO, funnel optimization and email marketing 
    • Passion for hiring, retaining, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams
    • Love of metrics with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
    • International experience and perspective is a plus
    • Available to consistently work PDT hours
