We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a Data Platform team working on an exciting new product that helps hospitals manage bed capacity better.


    • Be part of a data team that is responsible for ingesting data from hospitals (batch ingestion and real-time ingestion via HL7 and other healthcare protocols). 
    • Develop data models, ETL, and infrastructure that cleanses and normalizes complex data (structured and unstructured). 
    • Maintain and evolve complex data processing code using Python and SQL. 
    • Maintain and evolve data pipelines using Airflow and AWS technologies such as Fargate and Lambda. 
    • Work with Product Managers, Customer Implementation Managers, and Data Analysts to ensure that the data we get is complete, accurate, and aligned with our schemas. 
    • Monitor production services and resolve issues.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • 6+ years of experience building production grade data pipelines in a team environment. 
    • In-depth experience in Python writing readable, maintainable, performant code. 
    • Expert-level in SQL and relational databases.
    • Good intuition and reverse-engineering skills to plough through data that is not well documented


    • Experience working with EHRs or in the healthcare space in general.
    • Familiarity with Pandas, Numpy and with R, Tableau, and other data analysis tools.
    • Experience building real-time data pipelines.

The base salary range for this position is $160-$200K/year. The offered salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including work location, your skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience and internal equity.
