Here’s an incredible opportunity to be a Tech Lead for a team of 6 engineers, working on a Clinical Staffing Module of our iQueue for Operating Rooms product. This module utilizes AI-powered algorithms and predictive analytics to optimize operating room staffing and resource allocation. As part of our team, you will design and implement cutting-edge features leveraging historical data and real-time insights to improve surgical workflow efficiency and staff satisfaction. In this role you’ll be a driving force behind the elegant, scalable solutions that make a measurable improvement on the lives of patients and healthcare workers alike. You will also have opportunity to manage the engineers on your team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Empower and inspire a team of engineers, mentoring their growth and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Drive the technical vision of your module, ensuring high code quality, robust testing, and comprehensive documentation
- Champion technical excellence through design reviews, test coverage, optimization, and proactive tech debt reduction
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to transform ideas into reality
- Be a hands-on contributor, writing code across the stack
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Expertise in a frontend language (JavaScript), and relational databases (MySQL)
- 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-ready RESTful web services in cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
- A "get things done" attitude fueled by curiosity, passion, and a knack for creative problem-solving
- Strong system design expertise and a passion for building scalable, maintainable code
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Expertise in a backend language (Java or Python)
- Experience building healthcare products
- Deep familiarity with AWS technologies
- Two-way data integrations with third party sources of truth

$140,000 - $200,000 a year
The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
