Here’s an incredible opportunity to be a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead a group of engineers developing a Clinical Staffing Module of our iQueue for Operating Rooms product. This module utilizes AI-powered algorithms and predictive analytics to optimize operating room staffing and resource allocation. In this role, you’ll be a driving force behind elegant and scalable solutions that make a measurable impact on the lives of both patients and hospital workers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Empower and inspire a team of engineers by mentoring their growth and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement to retain top technical talent. Help to drive recruitment, plan headcount based on needs, and onboard new engineers
    • Champion technical excellence through design reviews, test coverage, optimization, and proactive tech debt reduction. Ensure engineers are making the right trade-offs to ensure high scalability, security, performance and simplicity
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to transform ideas into reality. Influence product roadmaps from a technical perspective and ensure the team is moving to execute in the right direction
    • Be a hands-on contributor, writing code across the stack alongside your teams

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-ready RESTful web services in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) with Agile and CI/CD pipelines
    • 2+ years of engineering management experience 
    • A "get things done" attitude fueled by curiosity, passion, and a knack for creative problem-solving
    • Full-Stack engineering experience with Object-oriented Programming languages (Java or Python), JavaScript, and relational databases (MySQL)
    • Strong system design expertise and a passion for building scalable, maintainable code
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Proven track record of building and scaling high performing teams

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

    • Experience building healthcare products
    • Deep familiarity with AWS technologies
    • Exposure to a frontend frameworks like Angular or React
    • AI/LLM project experience
    • Two-way data integrations with third party sources of truth

$140,000 - $200,000 a year
LeanTaaS takes a market-based approach to pay. The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including the level you are hired into, your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity, and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
