We are seeking a talented Marketing Communications Manager or Senior Manager to lead our content marketing strategy, build thought leadership programs, manage social media and website optimization, and provide support for additional PR and communication activities. Our ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor, collaborative team player who can also work independently, and is comfortable wearing both creative and analytical hats. This role will report to the Director of Communications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Content strategy: Create and oversee content strategy and execution to drive website traffic, maintain share of voice dominance, and elevate the brand. Partner with Solution Marketing and Demand Generation teams to drive customer content and communication initiatives across different channels: podcasts, newsletters, case studies, website, partner websites, events, and more.
    • Content creation: Be an editorial powerhouse by developing whitepapers, eBooks, bylined articles, email/website copy, blog posts, reports, video scripts, etc. Set content goals and objectives, defining content topics and formats, creating editorial calendars and workflows, and aligning content with the overall marketing and business strategy.
    • Thought leadership: Deliver consistent, coherent messaging for key executives across the company’s owned and earned media.
    • PR & brand building: Support Employer Branding communication programs to facilitate recruiting/HR efforts. Support PR and media campaigns in partnership with the Director of Communications and our agency of record. 
    • Website: Partner with our website and SEO vendor to create SEO-optimized content including blogs, landing pages, resources, etc. that drive improved search rankings and organic traffic. 
    • Social media: Own social media strategy, calendar, and reviews, including working with graphic designers to craft compelling visual content. 
    • Vendor and partnership management: Support and/or manage agency partnerships, including PR firm, website and SEO vendor, and content partners.  
    • Reporting and analytics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for content to offer suggestions for improvement. Compile quarterly reports from agency partners and internal colleagues for Quarterly Business Reviews. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • Proven content expertise: 5+ years in marketing communication roles, including a record of excellent writing and content creation demonstrated in a professional portfolio. Proven ability to repurpose content into multiple content types for distribution in many channels.
    • Skilled storytelling: Ability to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse audiences. History of high-performing content creation and strategic messaging that grows brand visibility and drives demand generation activities.
    • Detail-oriented multitasking: Strong time, project, and stakeholder management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in project management platforms like Asana, Notion, and ClickUp. 
    • Strategic thinking: Can develop content and communication strategies and manage a calendar based on business goals, product lines, and personas.
    • Being solution-oriented: When problems arise or projects veer off course, can focus energy on crafting solutions and proactively providing recommendations.  
    • Data-driven mindset: Passionate about metrics with analytical skills, including SEO expertise, to identify opportunities, solve problems, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Collaboration and insights: Experience with marketing/sales funnels, persona-based, industry-based, and/or funnel-stage-based content, and data-backed optimization. Work cross functionally with designers, developers, product managers, sales teams, and external agencies to ensure that all content meets brand guidelines, technical specifications, and customer expectations.
    • Tech-savviness: Comfortable with AI content tools (internal champion for tools like GPT-4, Gemini, etc.) and translating complex ideas for targeted audiences. Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, social media management tools, and email marketing software.

$90,000 - $135,000 a year
The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
