Administrative Assistant (8 week contract)

Role Description: Learn Capital is looking for an outgoing, autonomous Administrative Assistant to help support our Managing Partner for eight weeks while our main administrative assistant is on maternity leave. Your role is essential in improving the efficiency and productivity of our Managing Partner, at the same time you will have the unique experience of being able to partner with team members across different functions and gain first-hand exposure to the venture capital business. You will also be responsible for performing a variety of support activities to facilitate the efficient conduct of business activities for the Managing Partner. This position is essential to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office.

Responsibilities

    • Manage a complex calendar, and schedule internal and external meetings across various time zones while being able to anticipate conflicts and solve scheduling issues
    • Relieve Managing Partner of administrative detail, projects, and coordination workflow
    • Prepare board and committee materials on a regular basis
    • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive materials
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
    • Welcome guests and ensure onsite meetings flow smoothly (e.g. ordering lunch, printing materials, Zoom meetings, etc.)
    • Assist with other related duties and special projects as necessary

Qualifications

    • You have 2 to 4 plus years of Admin experience; preferably in a venture capital, law, or private equity firm
    • You are an expert with the Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Docs, etc.)
    • You have excellent time management and organizational skills
    • You have deep interpersonal skills and self awareness; professional demeanor is a must
    • You have excellent written and spoken communication
