About the Role
As LearnLux’s Sales Development Representative (SDR) you have a hunter’s mindset, and aren't afraid to lean in to the "no." This is an exciting new opportunity to drive your function at a fast-growing seed stage startup at the cutting edge intersection of financial wellness and technology. The Sales Development Representative will be on the front-lines of the sales process researching prospective clients, optimizing outreach strategies, developing sales opportunities, and handling inbound leads. As a SDR, you will use your sales ability and business acumen to run connect calls with prospects to qualify and excite them about bringing financial wellness to the workplace. Top performers bring creativity, high energy, and a passion for sales to this position. The SDR role will collaborate will all departments on the team.

Responsibilities
- Build lists and qualify via calls, emails, Linkedin etc to identify sales opportunities and set up discovery calls and demos
- Handle inbound sales pipeline to set up discovery calls and demos
- Manage an organized pipeline and run the HubSpot CRM
- Seek and analyze prospect information online to leverage in sales efforts
- Collaborate and strategize with Marketing and Product on campaigns and company priorities
You Should Have
- At least 1-2+ years of SDR experience in the SaaS space
- Experience in the HR Technology space a plus
- Experience with long sales cycles that require lots of nurturing and relationship building
- Team player and self motivator
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Resourceful, flexible and can operate in an environment without big corporate structure
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
Nice to Have
- Strong copywriting skills
- Knowledge of HubSpot
- Passion for personal finance, employee financial wellbeing and democratizing access to financial guidance
