We are hiring the Head of Instructor Operations to help us recruit and onboard the largest and most qualified pool of instructors around the US. We’re looking for an amazing person who is excited about our mission and can lead our core development of the pipeline for our Instructor supply, from acquisition and sourcing to project managing the hiring process and onboarding. You will report directly to the executive team and be responsible for managing and developing a world-class operations team that scales our Instructor pool.

Responsibilities

    • Own the KPIs for instructor hiring and proactively set strong goals and identify opportunities to improve pipeline performance
    • Build out and coach the Instructor Operations team to become a best-in-class organization focused on effective acquisition, activation and retention of Instructors
    • Develop the long-term scaling strategy of our Instructor Operations and how to hire hundreds of Instructors on a monthly basis
    • Focused on evaluating the ROI of sourcing channels and improving efficiency of the hiring and onboarding process for Instructors
    • Constantly create process improvements to increase efficiencies with the recruiting funnel while also upholding and improving the high Juni Instructor quality standard
    • Project manage daily and weekly targets with a strong focus on fast decisions to candidates
    • Partner with sales and growth to capacity plan for the year and own the annual Instructor hiring cadence of the team
    • Partner with engineering, product, design to build experiences across the instructor lifecycle to boost retention
    • Partner with the growth team on top of funnel sourcing and strategy, as well as Instructor referrals
    • Represent Juni professionally with every applicant in written and video communication, regardless of hire decision
    • Mentor and train new hires and temporary workers and build out the hiring plan for the Instructor Operations team
    • Work with multiple teams to hit company-wide goals for growth

Qualifications

    • 8+ years experience in operations, finance, management consulting or growth working with SaaS, education, or consumer products
    • B.A. or B.S. ideally in Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Focused on hitting weekly and monthly targets with a demonstrated track record
    • Experience shifting priorities while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented. You love spreadsheets and checking off items in a todo list
    • Represents Juni professionally with parents, students, external organizations, and within the team
    • Self-driven to manage your own work and results with high standards
    • Openness to change, and quick to adapt to new systems
    • Team player and collaborates with others constructively and positively
    • Experience managing direct reports preferred
    • Interest in and ability to learn basic programming is required, previous experience is a big plus
    • Strong ethical and honest approach
