Job Overview: As a Warehouse Parts Runner, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, coordinating parts deliveries, and providing support to our service technicians in the field. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment will be crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely delivery of parts. Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and organization of parts and supplies in the warehouse.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records, utilizing inventory management systems and software.
    • Perform regular inventory audits to identify shortages, discrepancies, and replenishment needs.
    • Prepare and pack parts orders for service technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
    • Monitor and track delivery schedules to optimize efficiency and meet service demands.
    • Assist service technicians in locating and retrieving parts from the warehouse as needed.
    • Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
    • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with internal team members.
    • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and maintaining records.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
    • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts is a plus.
