Are you a skilled and customer-focused HVAC technician seeking a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Service HVAC Technician to join our team at Ark Parent - Blue Ox As a Residential Service HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional HVAC services to our valued residential clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
- Properly complete paperwork.
- Join the on-call rotation.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Participation in training allows you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ year experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Clean, safe driving record.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
- Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today.
- Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
- Personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations.

$30 - $60 an hour
