Lendbuzz seeks a passionate Software Engineer in Test who is enthusiastic about automated testing and proficient in JavaScript programming. Our ideal candidate is eager to join a rapidly expanding company and contribute to enhancing the coverage of end-to-end tests. They will play a crucial role in owning the automation testing process, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

This position is based in our headquarters in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Own, develop and maintain the e2e automation testing framework using playwright
    • Test new and existing products using manual and automated methodologies
    • Develop the API automation testing framework using playwright
    • Work with developers and QA engineers to design and build out our test suite
    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery of software updates
    • Collaborate on the pre-deploy stage to ensure smooth releases
    • Identify, report and track defects caught by automation and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality and potential areas of improvement
    • Use your expertise to align with industry trends and best practices in software automation

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field 
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript/ javascript, Python or Java
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar technologies
    • Familiarity with version control systems like git for code management and collaboration
    • Ability to learn new codebases quickly, and come up with testing failure cases
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

$105,000 - $120,000 a year
