Lendbuzz is seeking a Payroll Manager to support processing and the on-going building and improving of payroll functions. Processing all aspects of payroll data within the exempt and non-exempt payrolls.

The Payroll Manager will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll and must have strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of payroll experience in a company with 200+ employees with a remote workforce; ideally 2+ years experience with Paylocity
    • You act with integrity and build trust as you contribute to your team and the company’s success
    • Great interpersonal skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally at all levels within the organization
    • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with a process improvement mindsetProactive attitude & excellent investigative skills in dealing with complex issues and identifying solutions
    • Able to maintain composure while working within tight deadlines
    • Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)

Responsibilities

    • Own and manage all Payroll activities including maintaining a timely and accurate payroll process and reviewing all changes in benefits, taxes, and state filings
    • Register states for payroll; We currently registered in 27 states; additional states will be registered as a result of expected growth
    • Point of contact for all Payroll related questions to all employees
    • Support Accounting in all areas of reporting and reconciliation of payroll related costs, and create regular and ad hoc report requests on different payroll metrics
    • Monitor and maintain payroll controls and guidelines
    • Maintain strong relationships with external third parties (e.g. payroll & benefit providers)
    • Assist with external audits, as well as regulatory reporting obligations
    • Work closely with all other teams (including HR Team, Accounting and Finance Team)
    • Act as additional support for other off-cycle payrolls as required
    • Support the accounting team on automation, system integration, and other projects as needed
