Level99 is a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience, which opened its proof-of-concept venue in Natick MA in June 2021. A massive World of Challenges, over 48,000 square feet in size, Level99 offers a physical open-world game environment where groups of 2-6 guests choose from over 40 rooms, each containing a unique physical or mental team challenge. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the delivery of venue-level projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

A Project Manager demonstrates a joyful and positive approach to challenging situations and working with others. A Project Manager has honesty and personal integrity that is above reproach, prefers a joyful and positive approach to challenging situations, chooses humility over the need to “be right,” and in all things acts as though you are the Owner and Operator of their venue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide overall management and facilitate the delivery of venue-level projects, working closely with internal team members, and all stakeholders
    • Primary PM for new venue projects
    • Managing fabrication vendors
    • Owning the budget and expenditures
    • Ensure that project timelines are met and project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
    • Identify and manage project risks and issues, and escalate them as necessary
    • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports
    • Own the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and contracts
    • Track project expenses and reconcile invoices with project budgets
    • Be responsible for managing project resources, including scheduling and coordinating project team members
    • Intermittent travel to vendor locations for fabrication buy-offs
    • Manage any other projects as necessary for both new and existing venues
    • Maintain a positive, upbeat, pro-active attitude and inspire the same in fellow team members
    • Other duties, as assigned

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

    • 5+ years of post-collegiate experience in project management
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs and Wrike (will train if needed)
    • Ability to own your projects, work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
    • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field is preferred
    • A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude
    • Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get into the details as a team player with a "get things done" proactive attitude
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which may include days, nights, and weekends as well as emergency responsiveness to pressing technical or safety issues as required
    • Ability to travel to active projects (new venues) and travel for installations as necessary
    • Ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs/ladders
    • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, manuals, and instructions
    • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds

OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE

    • Experience in Themed Entertainment, Films, Theater or Corporate Events
    • General knowledge of scenic fabrication and graphics production
While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!
