Position Overview
The Sales Analytics Analyst turns raw sales information into clear, actionable insights for company leadership. Working closely with the Sales, Revenue Operations, and Marketing teams, you will own the collection, cleaning, and visualisation of core sales metrics such as pipeline, bookings, and quota attainment. Your dashboards and reports will guide daily decision-making, highlight growth opportunities, and flag risks before they become issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, validate, and consolidate sales data from the CRM and related sources (pipeline, bookings, quotas, retention, etc.)
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and scheduled reports that track key performance indicators for the sales organisation.
- Produce ad-hoc analyses to answer urgent business questions and support forecasting, territory design, and quota setting.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes, then translate findings into clear recommendations for sales leadership.
- Partner with Sales Operations to improve data quality, automation, and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to ensure consistent metrics and a single source of truth across the revenue funnel
- Document data definitions, reporting standards, and best practices to promote data literacy within the organisation
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or sales/revenue operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Proven proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in at least one business intelligence tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Solid understanding of CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and their data models.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for turning data into compelling narratives.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a high-growth or SaaS environment is a plus.
