What You Will Be Doing

    • Grow and maintain a high performing team of Site Reliability Engineers including recruiting and retaining top talent capable of operating under pressure through empowerment, development and coaching/mentoring.
    • Define and own the roadmaps to continuously improve platform resilience, automation and reduce the amount of toil.
    • Own the prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of commitments to our customers
    • Look for efficiencies & driving results using smarter monitoring; find opportunities in optimising the customer experience whilst balancing change risk with automation and testing.
    • Instrument SLI, SLOs, and actionable alerts in partnership with product owners, engineering and architecture teams.
    • Identify, measure and track reduction & automation of manual and repetitive work
    • Identify, prevent and fix complexities that are found in software design, system architecture, configuration, deployment processes, or elsewhere.
    • Partner with engineering, InfoSec, application architecture and other groups for addressing both customer and internal pain points through automation
    • Drive the firm’s SRE strategy to ensure production availability and resilience with a strong focus on excellent customer experience
