WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 
Our Endava family is growing! We seek an Engagement Manager – Private Equity to join our Private Equity Group. As an Engagement Manager – Private Equity at Endava, you will have a minimum 5 years of experience in Consulting with a strong understanding of digital technology and digital transformation, exposure to private equity – including Technical and commercial due diligence, experience in client relationship management, and building out a successful book of business. 
 
This is an exciting, senior role that focuses on leading and delivering due diligence and value creation projects (as part of a team), supporting business development activity, and taking joint responsibility for achieving PEG revenue and margin targets. The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant part in the growth and development of the PEG in North America, its clients, and revenues over the coming years. 

Responsibilities:

    • Hand’s-on delivery responsibility for complex technology diligence and post-acquisition projects (including shaping and scoping engagements and building diligence teams).
    • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
    • Responsibility for ensuring the quality of the delivered projects/services, including the technical and commercial integrity, meets the PEGs quality standards.
    • Managing client and internal stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
    • Working with internal delivery teams (Enterprise Architects/ Digital Product Strategists) and our external network of senior industry advisors (CIO/CTO profile).
    • Ensuring that PEGs client commitments (in terms of scope, approach, timescales etc.) are adhered to in accordance with PEGs business processes for service delivery.
    • Responsibility for business and relationship development within an agreed set of Private Equity clients (predominantly in the global buyout funds)
    • Generating and managing c£2-3m fee revenues (with support of PEG leadership, PEG marketing and sales teams)
    • Taking ownership on commercials around projects (pricing, margins)
    • Contributing to and supporting the future growth and expansion of the PEG as it expands it service offerings and enters new geographies.
    • Assist Head of Private Equity in sales and business development efforts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. First-hand knowledge of Private Equity and transactional advisory services is mandatory. A Digital background is highly desirable but not essential.
    • Proven ability to lead teams of – and gain the respect of – experienced (C-level) technology professionals and Investment Partners, typically from different backgrounds and experiences, in client-facing professional services engagements.
    • Proven business development and fee generation experience.
    • Proven project management credentials in a professional services environment.
    • Strong client management experience, at least 5 years in a client-facing role.
    • Strong commercial awareness.
    • Good, general technical awareness and the ability to communicate a technical subject matter to a non-technical audience. 
    • Passion for excellence in written communications. Proven ability to write grammatically correct, well-structured reports that are concise in nature and clear in message.
    • Analytical mind-set and excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to build and grow relationships and manage complex stakeholder environments – internally and externally.
    • Experienced in writing scope and report writing, including presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders.
    • Experienced in delivering complex diligence projects - Represent / Present findings.
