Role Overview:

As an Enterprise Architect within our prestigious software consulting firm, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward the digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives of leading U.S. enterprises. Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex IT systems and business strategies, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions. This role demands a unique blend of technical proficiency and exceptional client-facing consulting skills, positioning you as a key advisor to both internal teams and external clients across various industry sectors.
Industry Experience:

We are actively seeking professionals who Proven Track Record with 10 to 30+ years and and an extensive background and a dedication of 5 years each across three or more of the following sectors:

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic IT Architecture Development: Craft overarching IT strategies that are in perfect alignment with business goals, fostering innovation, operational efficiency, and scalability.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment: Spearhead discussions with both internal and external stakeholders, conducting workshops to ensure a mutual understanding of needs, challenges, and strategic directions.
• Visionary Leadership in Technology and Business: Serve as the principal advisor on technology and business strategy within project teams, guiding decision-making and best practice adoption in enterprise architecture.
• Digital Transformation Direction: Lead the charge on digital transformation efforts, advising clients on the strategic use of technology to drive business growth and competitive differentiation.
• Solution Advocacy and Innovation: Champion technical solutions that are not only innovative but also commercially sustainable, balancing cutting-edge approaches with practical implementation strategies.
• Mastery of Communication: Employ unparalleled communication skills to demystify complex technical and business concepts, engaging a broad audience spectrum.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement, sharing your wealth of knowledge to uplift the team’s capabilities across the board.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Enterprise Architecture: Proven expertise in implementing any two of the following disciplines and familiarity with the rest of the disciplines: Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Integration Architecture, Security Architecture, Data Architecture.
• Application Architecture: Designing complex software applications covering frontend and backend technologies, databases, servers, networking, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and application security.
• Integration Architecture: Utilizing software integration technologies such as ESBs, MQs, API Gateways, and streaming/event processing software.
• Security Architecture: Conducting threat modeling, security risk assessments, and implementing cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
– Data Architecture: Designing scalable and distributed data storage solutions, applying data management principles including governance, integration, warehousing, big data technologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
– Infrastructure Architecture: Devising enterprise IT strategy around servers, storage, networking, virtualization, serverless technologies and Infrastructure as Code tools on cloud platforms ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Enterprise Software: Awareness of enterprise software systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), CMS (Content Management System), RPA (Robotic Process Automation), BI (Business Intelligence) etc.
• Exceptional Communication: Adept in all forms of communication, capable of effectively articulating complex ideas to a varied audience.
• Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability in crafting IT strategies that seamlessly integrate with and propel business objectives forward.
• Deep Technical and Business Insight: Comprehensive understanding of both the technical and business landscapes, able to earn credibility and navigate complexities with ease.
• Leadership Across Domains: Proven leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams and building collaborative stakeholder engagement.
• Workshop Facilitation and Leadership: Extensive experience in leading workshops and stakeholder discussions to crystallize needs and strategic directions.
• Risk Management and Adaptability: Skilled in risk assessment and adept at guiding organizations through change, managing both risks and transitions effectively.
• Advanced Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields, or an equivalent caliber of professional experience.
