As a Quality Control Technician you will support the development and implementation of a world-class quality system and drive the development of quality processes that are core to the company’s success. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee.

Responsibilities

    • Inspect incoming parts, in-process, and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
    • Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
    • Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
    • Maintain clean and organized work areas

Required skills and experience:

    • Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals.
    • Technical associate’s degree; or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
    • Experience with calipers, comparators and micrometers
    • Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
    • Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
    • Highly organized, detailed oriented, self-starter
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have skills:

    • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel formulas
    • Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
    • Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems
    • Medical device and clean room experience
