What you will do:

    • Lead the procurement process, including RFQs, RFPs, and supplier selection.
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of materials.
    • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery and quality assurance.
    • Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
    • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant industry regulations, including FDA and ISO standards.
    • Implement effective inventory control strategies to minimize excess inventory while meeting production demands.
    • Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications. Provide input on material selection and supplier capabilities during the product development process
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the purchasing function.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
    • 3+ years of procurement experience
    • Proven vendor negotiation and contract management skills
    • Experience with change planning
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc)
    • Knowledge and hands-on experience in ERP/MRP, specifically in planning, purchasing, and inventory management. ODOO experience a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with NPI within the Medical Device industry is highly preferred
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
