We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and developing best-in-class surgical devices. Responsibilities:

    • Provide engineering input during all stages of product development.
    • Convert validated product prototype (Prototype Model) to manufacturing ready model (Production Model).
    • Create Production Model Design Documentation.
    • Assist Product Manager with New Model Development Process including:
    • Create and execute design of experiments for testing new materials and/or manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, functionality and potential reduction in manufacturing time.
    • Develop incremental design improvements based on customer feedback.
    • Develop Lexington Medical product knowledge as well as hands-on ability to operate
    • Work independently across functions including with Research & Development and Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience:

    • BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from a top school, with an excellent GPA.
    • Medical device design experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
    • Experience in product development and product lifecycle management.
    • Demonstrated theoretical and practical engineering fundamentals.
    • Exceptional technical zeal, problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
    • Mechanical aptitude to use experimental engineering techniques in the lab.
    • Demonstrated motivation, curiosity and creativity.
