The YouVersion Portfolio Manager is primarily responsible for managing the portfolio, reporting on progress, and visualizing the YouVersion Product Roadmap used at various organizational levels. The product portfolio consists of Product opportunities and solutions that achieve the vision and outcomes of the Product team.

This role is responsible for leading portfolio management initiatives that support the direction and efforts of the team to achieve outcomes that further the Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You’ll Do

    • Manage the portfolio to execute the strategy aligned with the team’s and church’s vision and goals.
    • Continuously track the progress of each project and adjust resources as needed.
    • Visualize product roadmaps based on different audiences to provide vision, direction, priorities, and progress.
    • Support the Chief Product Officer with presentation preparation on the roadmap and upcoming strategies.
    • Provide regular updates and insights on the status and progress of the portfolio.
    • Act as a bridge between the product team, leadership, and key stakeholders to report on the progress of the portfolio.
    • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and quality assurance to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.

Skills Needed to Succeed

    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
    • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
    • Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
    • Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 1 –3 years of related work experience.
