The Assistant to Team Leader is primarily responsible for supporting the Campus Leadership Office in their team’s initiatives and daily operations. This role will anticipate the needs of the day-to-day Central Office, organize and improve systems, and collaborate with others to help the office run efficiently. This role operationally supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

What You’ll Do

    • Support the Central Office Team Leader with various projects and initiatives, which may include research, gathering data, preparing presentations, and assisting with project coordination.
    • Create systems and processes to provide support and assistance to the Central Office Team Leader and Campus Leadership Pastor as it relates to organizing and managing information on a continual basis.
    • Communicate and assist in follow-up needs and inquiries on behalf of the Central Office Team Leader. 
    • Maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders while acting as a liaison between the Campus Leadership Team, and internal/external parties, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
    • Accommodate changes in priorities, last-minute requests, or unforeseen events while remaining flexible, and strategically ensuring minimal disruption to calendars, optimizing time as necessary.
    • Run errands and provide daily support for tactical things like picking up lunch or buying a gift.
    • Assist fellow team members with various meetings, events, or tasks as requested.
    • Support team-wide events such as Operational Staff Meeting, Family Reunion, CP Quarterly Meetings, Virtual Meetings, and other Team events as needed.
    • Provide support for the Campus Leadership Team related to budget, reports, metrics, variances, and p-card management.
    • Assist with travel arrangements for the Campus Leadership Pastor or Central Office Team Leader by booking flights, reserving hotels, coordinating transportation, and creating travel itineraries.
    • Coordinate, attend, take notes, and assist with next steps for all meetings as needed.

    • Maintain flexibility and initiate processes and projects while exemplifying a high level of customer service.
    • Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and follow-up in order to meet committed timelines.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 1 – 3 years of related work experience.
