The Architecture Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for providing operational support to the Real Estate Development team, directly supporting the Architecture team within Real Estate Development. This role is responsible for creating, streamlining, and maintaining systems and processes that keep design projects moving forward. The Operations Specialist will coordinate various assigned projects and assist with leading a team of volunteers. This role utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

What You'll Do
- Provide operational support for the Real Estate Development (RED) team.
- Provide day-to-day operational support primarily to the Architecture team, while ensuring effective collaboration and communication with the broader RED team.
- Coordinate plan reviews and milestone updates that impact cross-functional stakeholders.
- Submit invoices for payment and process vendor proposals and signed contracts.
- Review architectural-related contracts for accuracy and completeness.
- Create and update internal schedule documents for design and permitting milestones.
- Intake email requests, including vendor communication and team inquiries.
- Schedule and document meetings by taking clear, organized notes.
- Assist in leading volunteer teams and other special projects as assigned.
- Create, monitor, and maintain various projects, documents, and templates.
- Ensure proper record keeping and organization of project documents.
- Maintain architectural license renewals across multiple states.
- Research permitting requirements based on project location.
- Serve as a liaison between the Architecture team and municipalities throughout the permitting lifecycle.
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain relationships and partnerships
- Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely
- Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes
- Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate and structure projects
- Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve
- Strong guest relations and hospitality skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of related work experience
