With millions of daily interactions across digital experiences at Life.Church, the Site Reliability Engineering and Cyber Security Team is responsible for building and maintaining a secure, large-scale, highly available infrastructure. We serve millions of users globally and equip software engineering teams with resources and tools to build software efficiently and securely. We’re looking for an engineering-minded leader to lead a technical team that will drive and execute a unified organizational-wide strategy. You’ll fit right in if you:
Possess the ability and experience to lead skilled and diverse technical teams to a shared vision
Have experience leading a team focused on availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of their service(s) in cloud-based or multi-cloud-based environments
Are comfortable integrating penetration, fuzz, and black box testing as well as red team assessments in partnership with legal and risk assessment teams
Previously led a software team, but love UNIX system internals and networking (layer 1 to layer 3)

Have been part of a team guided by the Principles of Site Reliability Engineering
Can work quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while navigating multiple priorities
Are considered a subject matter expert in data protection standards such as GDPR
