The Recruitment Content Marketer is primarily responsible for implementing and managing the Recruitment marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and an increased applicant pool using a multi-channel approach in both paid and organic activities. This role utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of the Recruitment team to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

The goal and passion of the Life.Church Recruitment Team is to connect hiring leaders with their next great team members. We serve hiring leaders and staff with clear training, helpful resources, excellent customer service, and sound advice to help them identify and bring in each person God has chosen to join the team. 

What You’ll Do

    • Drive traffic through paid and organic user acquisition through various channels such as Google’s universal ad campaigns, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and third-party ad networks.
    • Collaborate with the YouVersion Creative Team to assist with the design and implementation of multimedia assets for projects.
    • Lead through the design and maintenance of the YouVersion Careers website.
    • Manage and develop a focused social media marketing strategy to increase traffic, visibility, and engagement on all YouVersion Careers social platforms.
    • Engage with the community through comments and replies using YouVersion’s brand voice.
    • Craft highly engaging written and visual content to include videos, graphics, Instagram stories, blog posts, etc. with a focus on careers and culture.
    • Report on opportunities in the digital marketing space.
    • Regularly evaluate platforms and ad networks.
    • Stay current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing space.
    • Define the key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement analytics and reporting methods to measure success, including cost, reach, and quality.
    • Audit platforms monthly to de knowledge of current market conditions that affect digital marketing, including staying current with emerging updates and changes as needed.
    • Interact and source potential candidates on social media and professional networks.
    • Support Interview Events and projects as needed.
    • Support Recruitment initiatives as needed.

Skills Needed to Succeed

    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.
    • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
    • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
    • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 1 – 3 years of related work experience.
