The Giving Systems Project Manager will partner with multiple teams as we seek to build, improve, test, and maintain Life.Church’s world-class giving platforms.

The Finance Team partners with the organization to facilitate the financial reporting needs of Life.Church, including payroll, accounts payable, giving operations, accounting, forecasting, and data analytics. We equip the organization with the tools needed to plan for, understand, and steward the resources God has provided for our ministry.

The Giving Systems Project Manager will partner with multiple teams as we seek to build, improve, test, and maintain Life.Church’s world-class giving platforms. This role will bring technical expertise to the Giving & Generosity Team. 

What You'll Do

    • Manage and coordinate projects with various teams supporting Life.Church giving platforms.
    • Collaborate in building, improving, testing, and maintaining the giving platforms.
    • Explore ideas for new platform features.
    • Coordinate and conduct testing and troubleshooting for technical issues of the giving systems.
    • Partner with other technology teams to implement new features, fix bugs, and monitor for issues.
    • Conduct automated and manual testing after each code distribution to ensure Life.Church's giving platforms are operating as intended.
    • Partner with the Giving Operations Team to improve the weekend giving (cash and check) systems and processes.
    • Routinely explore ways to improve existing giving processes.
    • Identify and implement automated solutions where possible.
    • Partner with other teams to improve and leverage data from our giving systems.
    • Assist the Giving Team in reporting and troubleshooting bugs in our Giving Systems.
    • Track and report on the resolution of bugs.
    • Assist with developing solutions to bugs as appropriate.

Skills Needed to Succeed

    • Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
    • Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
    • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
    • Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 1-3 years of related work experience.
