Senior Embedded Firmware / DSP Engineer

As an embedded firmware / DSP engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing embedded firmware / software for an autonomous driving vision system.  The candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline engineering team from initial design specifications through field deployment and testing.   

What you will do:
•Design and develop low level device drivers for custom hardware (ASIC).
•Design and develop HW control systems.
•Implement and optimize various image processing algorithms on high-speed custom DSPs.
•Develop software to manage multiple camera modules.
•Participate in architecture design reviews (hardware and software).
•Work closely with the hardware and other software teams to design and implement various APIs. 

Minimum Qualifications:
•BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
•Excellent C/C++ coding skills.  Other scripting languages such as Python, Perl, BASH, … a plus.
•Experience writing embedded FW on ARM processors and/or Tensilica DSPs.
•Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, XTOS, …).
•Experience debugging embedded microcontrollers (JTAG, Simulators)
•Experience with writing embedded software in a functional safety environment is a plus.
•Experience with GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, and Confluence.  
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
