Role mission

As a Senior AI Engineer specializing in Virtual Reality (VR), you'll spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions tailored for immersive VR experiences in the EdTech space. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll lead efforts to seamlessly integrate AI functionalities into VR applications, pushing the boundaries of innovation in real-time interactions and user engagement.

Deliverables

    • Develop and implement cutting-edge speech recognition algorithms and models for real-time transcription within a VR learning environment
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Unity developers, UX/UI designers, and content creators to integrate speech-to-text capabilities seamlessly into the VR learning application
    • Optimize speech recognition performance for accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency, considering diverse user accents and environmental factors
    • Conduct thorough testing and validation of speech recognition systems to ensure robustness and reliability across various scenarios and user interactions
    • Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech recognition technology and AI methodologies, and incorporate relevant innovations into the development process
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning

About you

    • Proven experience in developing and deploying speech recognition systems, preferably within VR or gaming environments
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles
    • Solid understanding of Unity development principles and experience in integrating AI functionalities into Unity applications is a plus
    • Hands-on experience with relevant AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for training and deploying speech recognition models
    • Deep understanding of machine learning techniques, particularly in the areas of natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
