Role Mission
We're looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer who will work in consultation with the Head of QA, to ensure the quality and reliability of the products we deliver to our clients. If you are passionate about quality assurance, possess a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Deliverables
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Typescript
- Implement test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies
- Conduct thorough testing of web applications (React, Express, Electron) to identify and report defects
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of our QA practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing methodologies
About you
- 5+ years experience as a QA Engineer in a technology-driven environment
- Strong Proficiency in test automation using Playwright and Typescript
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans for use by 3rd parties or internal engineering
- Experience testing database changes (schema AND data)
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience with Appium
- Experience utilizing LLMs (Large Language Models) for creating comprehensive and detailed test plans
