LightEdge is seeking a seasoned Director of IT Program Management to drive enterprise-level technology initiatives and oversee the strategic alignment of IT programs with company objectives. This leader will be responsible for guiding cross-functional technology programs, optimizing business-critical processes such as Quote-to-Cash, Onboarding/Offboarding, AI adoption, and Master Data Management, and ensuring disciplined governance across the IT portfolio.
Reporting directly to the CIO, this role will play a pivotal part in translating vision into execution, ensuring technology delivery is streamlined, value-driven, and future-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Define and champion the IT Program Management function, setting the vision, strategy, and standards for program execution and governance.
- Partner with the CIO and executive leadership to prioritize IT investments that enable business growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations PMO to ensure alignment, eliminate duplication, and drive coordinated delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Act as a change agent, ensuring that IT programs deliver transformative impact across the enterprise.
- Direct technology enablement for mission-critical processes:
- Quote-to-Cash (QTC): Drive end-to-end integration and automation across sales, billing, and finance platforms.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Modernize and streamline processes for both employees and customers to enhance experience and compliance.
- AI Adoption: Lead integration of AI into business and IT workflows to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Master Data Management (MDM): Establish governance and accountability to ensure trusted, high-quality data across the organization.
- Establish and oversee the IT portfolio management framework, ensuring that all initiatives are strategically prioritized, transparent, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Implement and refine intake and demand management processes that balance business needs with IT capacity.
- Govern delivery practices across the IT organization to ensure alignment, scalability, and risk management.
- Oversee execution of cross-functional IT initiatives, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are consistently met.
- Manage interdependencies across programs and identify opportunities for synergies.
- Drive adoption of program management best practices and continuous improvement in delivery methodologies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business leadership on all program and portfolio matters.
- Ensure effective communication, transparency, and reporting of IT program performance at the executive and board levels.
- Build strong partnerships across business units, including alignment with theOperations PMO, to ensure enterprise-wide coordination and unified delivery.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT program and portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in leading enterprise-scale IT initiatives and business process transformation.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and business processes across finance, HR, operations, and sales.
- Demonstrated success in establishing IT governance, portfolio management, and intake frameworks.
- Experience with AI initiatives and master data management is highly desirable.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Agilist strongly preferred.
