Job Description
We're looking for a Remote Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team as a Care Navigator. As a Care Navigator, you'll be a valuable early member of our team, ready to make a positive impact on our company and the individuals we serve.
Your role will be to support user success by identifying their needs and challenges, and implementing interventions that promote new thinking and habit change to support their recovery. You'll also be responsible for building trustful relationships with our users to ensure their long-term success.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is passionate about promoting musculoskeletal health, and is comfortable navigating digital applications. You should be a self-starter and team player, with excellent skills in engaging and supporting users to achieve their health goals.

Job Responsibilities
- You will provide remote monitoring services to help support users as they progress through their home-exercise therapy program
- Direct and aid users in therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training through a tech platform
- Provide periodic feedback to the evaluating clinician on user progress
- Maintains necessary records and notes while providing remote monitoring
- Assist with improving processes and functionality of the platform
- Organize and manage a caseload while staying efficient
Requirements
- As a PTA, you are naturally empathetic, friendly, and love what you do.
- 2+ years of experience in musculoskeletal health is a plus
- Graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Active PTA license in California
- Tech Savvy, including having your own newer model laptop, fast and reliable wi-fi, and a smart phone
- Experience in behavioral modification, Health Coach Certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and an ability to collect and present meaningful data to drive decisions
- Strong relationship-building and listening skills
- Demonstrated user focus; a genuine passion for the user and their experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage various types of users
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- The flexibility and agility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to influence change and bring enthusiasm and excitement to the workplace
- Independent and proactive work style; quick, flexible thinking; and an open, inquisitive approach
- Eager to make an impact at a young company addressing an important problem
- Passion for health and wellness
