Lime is hiring a senior analyst to join our Fleet Management team with a primary focus on Fleet Accounting management and process improvement! The Global Operations Excellence team provides strategies and tools for the ongoing utilization and operation of electric vehicles to meet the demand of our customers. In this role, you will work with local operations teams from 31 countries and also partner with other globally focused teams (i.e. Data Science, Data Engineering, Finance, Accounting, etc…) in developing and iterating on the tools and processes our local partners use to account for their vehicle and battery fleets.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an evolving startup environment. You will be an in the moment problem solver with the ability to think about the short term and long term plan. You’re excited about building partnerships with team members around the globe, and are eager to improve upon our operations, even when it means taking things apart only to put them back together more efficiently.
The individual hired for this position must live within one hour of a Lime warehouse.
What you'll do:
- Support our local teams around the world with ad-hoc fleet accounting requests and questions
- Maintain, improve upon, and manage our quarterly asset audit program with a focus on enabling visibility into the location and quality of our vehicles and batteries in compliance with our public audit partners proof of existence requirements
- Manage the asset hold function, ensuring we have clear standards and best practices in place on how to utilize hold, types of hold, and reporting on hold utilization, while developing the process to ensure we are meeting the needs of our cross functional partners.
- Partner with our Data Engineering and Data Science team to develop our data infrastructure and reporting on fleet accounting data and Key Performance Indicators
About you:
- 2 - 5 years work experience within Operations, Finance, Consulting, or analyst-type roles. An analytical mindset with an inquisitive nature
- Advanced SQL, Google Sheets, and data management skills
- Experience building, implementing, and iterating upon best practices and process changes
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools
- Able, willing, and excited to travel 10% of the time
- Bonus points for experience working with quarterly / annual inventory audits or inventory life-cycle management!
